Billing

How billing works

One prepaid balance, itemized by call. One rate for the receptionist, one price per number — and nothing for the hours the phone doesn't ring.

  1. 01
First 10 seconds free, then 6-second increments
The first 10 seconds of every call are free, so quick hang-ups cost nothing. After that, time is billed in 6-second increments, not rounded up to the minute. A 2:10 call bills as 2:00.
  2. 02
    Prepaid wallet
Top up from $10. Each call is deducted from your balance as it's billed — no bill at the end of the month.
  3. 03
    No platform fee
No plan, no subscription, no seat fees, no monthly minimum. A month with no calls costs $1.99 for the number.
  4. 04
    Cancel anytime
No contracts. Release your number whenever you like.
  5. 05
Pay only for what you use
A payment method is required to activate; you only pay for what you use. Your balance pays for your numbers and the minutes your receptionist is on a call, nothing else.
FAQ

Questions about pricing

Can I keep my existing number?

Yes. Keep your existing number with your current carrier and forward it to your Ringkit number; callers keep dialing the number they know. Or take a new $1.99 number.

Is there a monthly plan?

No required plan, no subscription and no seats (the Pro knowledge add-on is optional, $5/mo). You pay $1.99 a month per number and 20¢ a minute while the receptionist is on a call. A month with no calls costs $1.99.

What happens after hours?

You set the rules per number: the receptionist answers, transfers anything urgent to your own team's number, or takes a message. Every call still ends up as a summary waiting for you in the morning.

Can callers reach my own team?

Yes. Tell the receptionist which calls to transfer and to which of your team's numbers. When nobody's free, it takes a message and sends you the details. There's no per-seat fee for your team.

Is there a free trial?

No. A payment method is required to activate; you only pay for what you use. With no plan and no minimum, a month with no calls costs $1.99 for the number.

Do you record calls?

Calls are recorded and transcribed to make the summary. Ringkit plays a consent notice on every call and follows two-party-consent rules by state.
